This is OUR story . . . . .

welcome to club med kani........

ok... first and foremost, really sorry for the delay... haha... been really bz with work and didnt haf much time to blog... ok ok.. that really sounds like an excuse... haha... anyway... its 2011 now and soooo many things happened in 2010... everything went on as planned and it was smooth sailing.... we are now officially and customarily mr and mrs yuen... hehe... this post should be the last of the trilogy... anyway, we planned this trip sometime in mid year.. during matta fair... it was a buy 1 free one deal...timing was perfect and the price was even better.. hehe...

and since the event was like 6 years ago, this post shall not be as detail as it should be... hehe.. will try to include more pix... pix paint a thousand words ma...

left klia on the 13th sept...took the 2155 flite and got upgraded to BIZ class... hehe.. thats the advantage of having connections here and there... thanx to the mrs for that.. hehe... it was only us in the biz class cabin.. haha.... its truly every honeymooner wish.. haha...

enjoying biz class meal.... the whole cabin is empty.... just the both of us......

we must haf finished the whole bottle of champagne on our selves.... hehe....

before lights off......

masa lights off.... after that is all history!! haha.... i must haf snored like nobody's biz.... was so tired and in deep sleep.... the whole 3 days must haf been the most tiringly fun days... haha.......sedar sedar, sampai Male oledi.....

3 1/2 hours later, we landed at Male.... and they haf quite a lousy disembark system... we need to take bus from the aircraft to terminal.... seated in the biz class, we boarded the bus first subsequently got pushed to the back.... by the time we got to the terminal, webecame the last to come down from the bus... and the last to clear immigrations.. haha.... anyway... greeted by Club med's guest officer and was brought to the jetty... jetty is just next to the airport... 50 steps away.... took a 30mins speedboat all the way to kani island... where our kanimoooon adventure begins...... :)

got there just after midnite.... escorted to our room.... and off to bed right away!! had our orientation/welcoming briefing the next morning.....

first day greeted by our guest officer.... this is the english speaking group..... the mandarin speaking group is just so crowded.... the whole place is fill wif PRC... haha.... they also haf japs speaking, spanish, korean etc etc......

preparing for a dive.....very very nice dive site.... mantas everywhere...
maybe we'll plan a dive trip there..... maybe... hehe

hehehhe......

ohhh.... what else for us to do on honeymoon at clubmed??? makan la....haha.... 3 main meals perday... breakie, lunch and dinner.... all buffet..... u can also book for ala carte dinner.... very limited space and u can only book on the morning itself.... normally, angmos will book and dress up nicely for their dinner.... asians will prefer to fight thru the buffet counters... haha... free flow of draught beer and wine.....wht can be the best thirst quencher after a long hot day!! real cold draught beer!! wohoo....

bbq dinner wif wine......perfect!!

they do prepare snacks between breakie /lunch and lunch / dinner.... go over to the bar and order ur snacks... we normally go for our 4pm snack....

apple juice and club sandwiches for snacks...

kani bar menu...... our fav would be kopi kani!! haha... pina colada, fruit punches.... all yummy!!

what else can u do in kani??? there are lotsa other activities....some exciting and some not very... haha... we went for diving, snorkelling, sailing, and our own snorkelling by the shore....and enjoying each others company... hehe....

the instructor will guide and gif us a quick lesson... then you are all on ur own.... it wasnt really that difficult....coz we only went to and fro... haha... no other fancy maneuvers

after dinner would be show time!! all the guest officer, receptionist, sailing instructors... less the tukang masak will put on a show for all the guest.....
